Rites for Monett Woman To Be This Afternoon
Monett, Mo. Oct. 14-Mrs. Mary (Mollie) Soo5ter, 89 years old, widow of the late
Edward G. Sooter died at 3:45 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of a daughter,
Mrs. A.H. Roller of Monett, Mrs. Sooter had lived here since 1901.
Surviving are two other daughters, Mrs. Ernest Agan of Pittsburg, Kansas and
Mrs. Raloph Morgan of Houston, Tex.; three sons, Asher Sooter of Monett, Tom
Sooter of Sugarcreek, Mo and Bill Sooter of Independence, Kansas.; a sister Mrs.
Laura Willis, 18 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren and seven great great
grandchildren.
A short service will be conducted at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the
Bennett-Wormington chapel and a second service will be held at 2:30 o'clock at
the Arnhardt church, near Purdy. the Rev. Pinkley Henderson will officiate and
burial will be in Arnhardt cemetery under the direction of the Bennett-Wormington
funeral home. She was also known as Mary Samantha MORELAND. Edward
Greenberry SOOTER SOOTEUR and Mary S. MORELAND had the following children:
