Robbie Fern Sooter, 86 of Bentonville, died tuesday, Nov. 20, at Gravette Medical Center. Born Nov. 3, 1902 at Gravette to John Allsbury and Eva Mae Gunn Allsbury, she was a home maker. She was a sunday school teacher for a number of years., She was active in the Bentonville Handicraft Club an the American Legion Auxiliary. Her husband, Ova Bryan Sooter (son of Greenberry "Berry" Sooter & "Vannie" Ollie Flsavan Shelly) preceded her in death in 1956.
Survivors are two sons, John B. Sooter of Bentonville and Kenneth Sooter of Decatur; three daughters, Ellen Jefferson, Beulah Brown and Helen Miller, all of Bentonville, 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.,
Funeral is set for 2p.m. Thursday at the Church of the Nazarene in Bentonville, with the Rev. Donald L. Dixon officiating. Burial is to be in Bethel Cemetery at Gravette. She died on 20 Dec 1988.
