James A. Sooter, 96, Died Near Tiff DCity
Tiff City, Mo., March 22-James Alexander Sooter, 96 years old, a resident of
this community many years, died at 9:30 o'clock friday night in his home near
here. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Tennessee Sooter; three daughters, Mrs.
Rosie Anderton, Mrs. Janie Crowder of the Hart Community and Mrs. Laura Thurman
of Pineville, a son, Elish Sooter of the Hart community. 15 grandchild and 12
great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Anderson Full Gospel
church. The Rev. Jim Royce and the Rev. Wilmuch Davis will officiate. Burial
will be in the Cummings Chapel cemetery under direction of the Tatum funeral
home. He was buried in 1952 in Cummings Chapel Cem. Tiff City, McDonald Co.
