16. Susan R. RUSSELL¹³ was born in 1848 in MISSOURI. She died between 1877 and 1880. Alive at birth of James, but gone in the 1880 census Andrew J. b. 1858 listed in 1880 census as brother in law to Levi Vassar, only sister left is Susan R.

Levi and his brother Thomas L were living with their older brother James Richmond Vassar in Capp's Creek Twnship. Barry Co. Missouri in 1870.
My ggggrandfather was Peter Jackson Vassar and Thankfule King's sone Joshua born 1824 in Tenn. Married Nancy Summers 3 Oct, 1844, I think in Cannon Co., Tn. the whole family moved to NW Mo. in the mid 1840's found a bio of old Peter (distiguishes him from Peter Jackson Varrar Jr) where he was one of the first settlers in Worth Co., making his lviing by hunting mostly. He arrived in 1843 and left tthe Co. in 1848 for Buchanan Co. Mo.
Joshua moved to SW Mo in the early 1850, his son Thomas L Vassar was born in Pierce city, Lawrence Co. Mo in 1855. Between then and 1860 Nancy died and Joshua married Emaline Smaith from Franklin Co. Ar.

Susan R. RUSSELL and Levi VASSAR were married on 1 Nov 1874 in Barry Co. Missouri By John B. Fly MG. Levi VASSAR⁴⁸ (son of Joshua VASSAR and Nancy SUMMERS) was born on 7 Jan 1853 in Barry Co.
