Ruby Pearl JONES34 was born on 5 Apr 1920 in Steedman, Oklahoma. She died Arthritis, Colon Cancer on 20 Dec 1980 in Anadarko, Oklahoma. Ruby was only 11 years old when her mother passed away. She had to quit school and take care of her and her two brothers. Ruby was barely 17 yrs. old when she and Buster got married. Ruby stayed with the Desma Atwood alot Ruby always cooked alot of good snacks and things to eat. You never went hungry in her house. When Buster passed away in 1980 Ruby moved to 303 West Texas in Anadarko, next door to her son, Johnny. Rubyy was in bad health from Arthritis and couldn't get around very well. Her granddaughter Susan moved in with her to help with the cooking and cleaning. After a few months Ruby's condition got worse and she went to the hospital. When she was released she went to Silver Crest Rest Home. Ruby stayed at Silver Crest until she returned to he hospital in Dec. 1981, where she died on Dec. 20. Everyone remembers Ruby Elms say that she was one of the sweetest and unselfish people that they had ever met.
